Sacrifice
Much of what has affected Eddie happened during the war. War is a time of great sacrifice. What sacrifices have you made for someone? What sacrifices have been made for you? How did you benefit from those sacrifices? You must write one complete, supported paragraph.
I made a lot of sacrifices to my family and friends many of them have sacrifice alot for me as well. I benefited from these sacrifices because I learned how much my family and friends care about me and how far they will go to do the best for me. Secondly that there is people out there that really do care will we be there for you when you need them.
ReplyDeleteA few times someone has sacrificed their time to work for me at Pizza Hut. Other times I have worked for other people when they couldn't. If you sacrifice things for others sometimes they will sacrifice things for you in return. The benefits you receive from this is just knowing you helped someone in some way. Sacrifices, big or small, are just a part of life.
ReplyDeleteI have had to make sacrifices for my mom and dad. Since my parents live in Afton the only time I get to see them is every other weekend. I work the other weekends so I have to stay in town during that. Which means on my free weekends I have to give up my only free time to go home and see them. My parents have also made sacrifices for me by letting me keep going to school at Clarke and not transferring to East Union. They new that me staying here was a better thing for me even though it may not have been what they wanted. I have benefited by not having to transfer and start over and not having to leave my friends.
ReplyDeleteI have sacrificed time to help other people with their needs. I've helped other people with their homework. I have also sacrificed time and energy by helping people with out of school activities and with school sports. Many people have made sacrifices for me. Some examples are people helping me with homework and with school sports. These have helped me by showing me how to do things better.
