Kate didn't want to make Anna feel like she was being forced to do this. She wanted Anna to do this on her own free will. The decision was up to Anna to get the lawer or not. Kate wanted to not feel like such a dead weight.
Kate believes Anna deserves a choice on what to do with her body. I think it would be a tough decision. Anna has a right to do what she wants with her body. Whatever Anna thinks is right is what she should do.
I think Kate asked Anna to do that because she didn't want her sisters life to be ruined. She doesn't want Anna to give everything up if there is a possibility that Kate would die anyways. Kate doesn't want her sister to sacrifice parts of herself to try and save Kate. I think that Anna was right to listen to her sister. That is Kate's last wish and what she wants for her sister.
I think Anna listened to Kate because she can see that Kate can not stand the pain anymore. Anna does not want Kate to go throughout the pain anymore. Kate would rather be put out of her misery than go through the pain anymore. I think she was right to listen to Kate, because it is what Kate wants.

I think she told Anna to do this because Kate always gets what she wants. She wants Anna to get what she wants for once. Also, I think Kate is confused because she knows she needs Anna to live, but she wants Anna to do what she wants because she respects her sister.
