  1. I didn't like this book very much. I like ready stories with more action and less emotional ties. even though i didn't like it my self, it was a good book and very moving. kate is a very inspirational person and anyone who knows her story would be moved. if i chaged anything about the book, it would add more action parts.

  2. So far I think that the book is okay. I don't like how it goes back and forth with reality. I'm a very emotional person and books that are sad make me feel uncomfortable if I have to read it during school. I would have changed the fact that the mom is so mean to her other daughter because I hate when parents make their kids feel bad when it isn't the kids fault. Other than that I thought the book was good. I like how they made a young girl seem so smart and mature and so so many bad things happening in her life and be able to act normal. I hope that the movie is better than the book but I thought the book was fine.

    1. I agree with you Morgan. I don't like mean people, and especially when they are mean to their children.

    2. I really don't like how they skip back and forth with the years. It's confusing.

    4. I also like that they made her sound so mature. That made the story so much more entertaining.

  3. I think overall I liked this book. The reading was pretty easy to understand. The story kept your interest. I didn't really like the family conflict and separation, but that was the dramatic part of the book. What moved me was how strong Anna and Kate were. They were strong in different ways. I don't think I would change much about this book.

    3. The family conflict was pretty harsh, but without it the book wouldn't of had much to talk about. It probably wouldn't have been that good of a book without it.

  4. I already read this book back in October. So I knew what it was about and what happened. I liked this book but I didn't love it. Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors. I liked pretty much everything about this book. I just didn't like all the medical terms because I didn't know what they meant. If any of you liked this book, I highly recommend you to read The Pact by Jodi Picoult. It is ten times better this book. I could not put it down.

  5. Eh. I think this book is way to big. It's a good story but they dragged it on way to much. I didn't really like it. I did like the story line though. I never read but I actually tired to read this one. So it must have been good for me to read it. There way some things that mad me mad but I was an alright book.

  6. I love this book. I thought it was a very well written and put together book. It made me want to cry sometimes even. The parts about Kate wanting to die really made me sad. The only thing I would mabey change is that Anna and Kate both would have lived. To be honest though she depicted a real story and made it more life like because of the way she ended it. Anna and Kate were really strong even having to go through all this, that makes me want to be stronger than I am.
