Assignment 2 FGT
Discuss the importance of food in the novel. It almost is another character, it is used so often. What do you think the author is trying to say by doing this? Write a solid, 5 sentence paragraph to answer. Then reply to at least 3 of your peers (with no less than 3 sentences each time).

The title implies food is mentioned throughout this book. Food seems to be a connection between characters. Mostly in the comical aspects is food mentioned. This also could be seen as a stereotype to southern people, if taken wrong. It gives the book a calm relaxed setting.

The author is using food as a way to bring people together. I think if food wasn't involved in the book then a lot of characters wouldn't be involved with each other.
